You're wrong. Like saying Hitler wasn't all bad because he was a half-decent painter. sundialsvc4 is worse than a troll; they are usually easily identified even by those new to a forum.

sundialsvc4 is far worse because, delusionally, he seems to believe the crap he posts is both true and useful; and that gives his posts and dialogue an air of sincerity. He is beyond help; but those whose careers are at risk, from taking the garbage he doles out with such sincerity and flare to heart, should be protected from him.

He dared management to ban him; and they should take him at his word. In the absence of that; and in the light of there being a few 'semi-professionally offended' here that prevent the consideration mechanism being used to control his output; the only option left is the current downvoting and attachment of warnings.

Management is wise to the triple dog dare tactic. :-)

His output does not meet the criteria for reapage. I will personally unreap any post of his (or anyone else's) which gets reaped solely for reasons of technical content.

the only option left is the current downvoting and attachment of warnings.

Properly, those are the first and best options.

I reckon we are the only monastery ever to have a dungeon stuffed with 16,000 zombies.

you missed the point, noone said he's even a little bit decent. stuff like this isnt a warning to others, its troll feeding and without context looks like only hostile abuse, who gains from that? a newb would see it and think marto is the easily identified troll, but infact it was just marto who got trolled into making himself look like a dick. the troll won that round and that happens too often

without context looks like only hostile abuse,

If you want context, look back at 10 years of sundialsvc4 repeatedly ignoring detailed and comprehensive disabusal of his regurgitated pet themes, and then feeding off superficially non-negative comments like yours, to renew his faith that he has something worth saying to say.

Whilst he never seems to tire of trotting out the same'ol thoroughly and repeatedly discredited garbage, the rest of us tire of repeatedly disabusing it. If even marto, one of the most even-tempered, even-handed and tolerant of those here, occasionally shows his frustration at the patience-sapping, energy-sucking, limit-testing stream of sewage that flows from the sundial; his occasional, mild frustration is entirely understandable in that long-term wider context.

Your encouragement of it -- intentional or otherwise -- is not. You seem to be aware of the re-metastasized carcinogen that is the sundial, but not that it only takes one hint of encouragement -- which means anything that is not directly and explicitly and unequivocally negative -- to end remission and force the need for another round of tiresome, frustrating and will-sapping chemotherapy.

When it comes to feeding the troll-of-trolls; you're doing a fine job.

        If you want context

i know the context, newbs dont, warnings are only good for newbs

it only takes one hint of encouragement

so hes a special troll but your guess why he does it is as good as mine. what i know is yelling at him has never helped. it makes the person yelling look bad, and thats a succesfull troll. ive gotten over his insanity, im not the anon whos been replying to him. i think too many ppl havent gotten over it yet, but i can only lead a horse to water, so ill stop now

This should have contained relevant points from here.
