Hi! Let me explain. Outthentic is a framework to develop scripts easy and rapidly. Batteries included: Handling command line / input parameters with various formats support - see https://github.com/melezhik/outthentic#suite-configuration and https://github.com/melezhik/outthentic#runtime-configuration Many languages support - Perl5, Python, Ruby and Bash - that means that _ the most_ of Outthentic features are available for the mentioned languages Multiple scripts scenarios support - that means you can have complex scenarios where one script call other passing parameters. In Outthentic you don't need to care about parameters passing and handling between various scripts, as it is already included - see https://github.com/melezhik/outthentic#run-stories-from-other-stories DSL to test scripts output which make it possible create tests scenarios very easy ( in TDD/BDD way ), see https://github.com/melezhik/outthentic#check-files and https://github.com/melezhik/outthentic/blob/master/check-files-syntax.md Outthentic scenarios are distributed on the most Linux platforms ( provided that Perl is installed ) in a way of packages of software - see SparrowHub - a repository of outthentic scenarios. OK, now you're getting somewhere. Scenarios are scripts. Check files are like tests. Stories are...still not sure. In the Outthentic page, if the Synopsis had useful words, or there was a Description section, or generally this page resembled other module pages like bigint or Getopt::Declare, I would be satisfied. I had (and have) the same issue. I'd like to see how a typical perl program, using Getopt::Long, Pod::Usage, Moose, Mojolicious, whatever, would get translated into Outthentic.	[reply]

Hi! Outthentic – quick way to develop user’s scenarios - I would highly recommend you to read this and then get back to the Outthentic documentation to get deeper. And as the last resort you can just hack into existed real life examples at SparrowHub ( Please only skip swat-* plugins cause they are irrelevant ) Regards	[reply]
