podbrowser installation on linux

igoryonya has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Hello, I was using podbrowser on Ubuntu to read the perl's documentation, but after I upgraded to Ubuntu 18.04, it disappeared from the repositories. I've searched for in on the internet, but found only the version for Ubuntu 16.04.

Is it no longer being developed?
Is it possible to install it somehow?
Maybe, from source code, if possible?
I saw, that there are some podbrowser packages in cpan, but I don't know if it's the same thing, that I am looking for.

P.S.

While I will try to revive the repo, I am wondering, if somebody knows of any other tool for browsing the Perl's doc for linux?

Just as a note, I downloaded the `.deb` file for 16.04 from here and it installed and appears to run fine on 18.04. All I had to do was `apt install ./podbrowser_0.12-2_all.deb`.	[reply] [d/l] [select]

Seems to be from here, which is a repo that's been placed into permanent read-only mode. I'm guessing its developer abandoned it?	[reply]

The latest change was 11 years ago O\|O. Too bad. Wow. OK, I will try to clone it and see, if it works. Thanks for your finding. I couldn't find it for some reason.	[reply]
