As far as I can tell, the comments under the correct answer are correct. The EXPOSE_BLOCKS option, which is very useful, isn't documented anywhere on CPAN or on www.template-toolkit.org.

    Have you looked at the Github issues? They are linked via the "issues" link on MetaCPAN and I assume that they'll also accept documentation improvements.
