Generating Postscript

Anonymous Monk has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

This is just a quick query. I would just like to know if there are any modules available that assist in generating postscript files. Basically I'm trying to write a mail merge type program that prints a pretty page. Any ideas?

Maybe you could consider generating PDF documents. Lots of non-UNIX people have no problems in handling them but are surprisingly shocked and powerless when receiving Postscript... -- TMTOWTDI	[reply]
