Are there any good resources on the web you could point me to? Say, something that would more or less clearly state the benefits of Perl (in general terms) to a web oriented business
Well, there's always a bunch of nice benchmark, I especially like Doug Bagley's TGCLS at http://www.bagley.org/~doug/shootout/ (mainly because it gives PHP the finger (I dislike the PHP programmers at work, they're so ostentatious it makes me sick))
