the books are a bit dated

But luckily a new version has just been released containing the lateest versions of all the books.

There have also been some changes. They've dropped "Perl for System Administration" and "Advanced Perl Programming" and they've added "Perl and LWP", "Perl and XML" and "Mastering Perl/Tk".

I just checked my cache and found that Re: Re: Reviewing Learning Perl "The Llama" was posted between 02:35 and 02:50 EST and Re: Re: Reviewing Learning Perl "The Llama" was posted between 03:05 and 03:20 EST. So, unless your post was delayed (was it?), the timestamps on the nodes appear correct. In otherwords, my mirror (pulling new content every 15 minutes) saw the other node half an hour before yours. -Blake	[reply]
