I --'d this node, and here's why; do you honestly believe that with all the traffic this site incurs nobody else would have mentioned it, and then if if it were a problem it wouldn't have been corrected yet? Being capable of this sort of reasoning could serve you well as a programmer.

    Have you ever worked on a large software project? Have you ever worked with people? Sometimes, bugs go unnoticed for a long time. :)

      How very true. Many have magical properties that allow them to hide away until one is demonstrating the software to a client.

      Yes, yes I have. However a typo in a user interface is a far cry from a schroedingbug. There was also of course the, what I believed to be intuitively obvious and oft mentioned (so I felt no need to do so yet again), "search the f\w+ site" slant as well.
