i would want to give money to support Perl Monks as well, but i am not interested in having to buy other things to do so. neither do i have anything that i would want to advertise with a banner ad. i would possibly be interested in sponsoring a 'no-ad' banner ad that was just blank and didn't link to anything, but since the ad pricing/revenues are based on click-throughs, that wouldn't really work. plus, i would be more interested in a fixed size donation/sponsorship than the possible open-endedness represented by the currently commercial pricing model.

just to be clear, i would be willing to contribute money without anything in return (that is anything more than what i already get from PM).
