Dear Fellow Monks,
I would like to have Modules mention pages daily. Also a link of nodes where it's used. In the context of discussion we will have clear idea as what situation it is used.

Our knowledge and understanding about CPAN and Modules will increase faster since we can see the context within our usual interface which is also archived.

We can also tie that up with Most Often Mentioned Modules.

It will also solve the CPAN Search Problem partially for Perlmonks.

We can also create a node for first mention of modules.

Also possible is 'related modules' from CPAN for given module. These nodes can be automatic and/or edited

Also possible is amazon style => The people who suggested this module 'by the way' has also suggested these other modules. :-)

Sounds like you are looking at an enhancement to the function nodelet. Have you turned this on in your user settings?

I guess it works by grepping any <code> sections against a list. Presumably, this could match a regex /use\s+(\w|\:\:)+/.

I wonder, besides the results being displayed in a nodelet, are they saved anywhere for indexing and priming super search?

    Just a few thoughts.

And I would like to have a fancy new car. However, nobody's going to give me one. If you think you have an idea that would be useful, feel free to start designing and developing it.

To be honest, your note isn't very clear to me. It sounds like you're asking for a daily update of some type of activity against CPAN? I'm not sure that belongs here; it sounds like a thing for cpan.org or even perl.com. Do keep in mind that people are already complaining about this site's response time, and one of the most common pieces of advice is to turn off nodelets, particularly the CPAN nodelet.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but at use perl, you can add slashboxes (like nodelets) for CPAN search and to keep track of CPAN uploads.

Just to be clear, I don't want to discourage you from having and talking about ideas, but a fuzzy idea without a solid plan of action doesn't do much good.

      Hi VSarkiss
No need to take words of presentation of content in this post so seriously . Content concentration would definitely be helpful.

Perlmonks Community , as per my understanding is a collaborative effort. Many features developed here are combination and contribution of more than 1 person. Participation varies from concept, ideas to implementation level.

I would have rather presented the ideas as a meditation.
