The attribution says "by gods" and the nodetype is document - that should clear any doubts as to who created it. They are not maintained, nor is any effort made to keep them up to date. You can see them all by looking at the Library and you'll find that the majority of these nodes has a preamble that says "This documentation may be outdated" and a bunch of links to various versions of the documents as served by Perldoc.com. Not all of the local manpages have that quip yet though.
While we're on the subject of the perldocs, it would also be nice if perldoc:// style links here were fixed, as perldoc.com changed their search interface. Look at this sample link to perldoc://perlfunc for example. I realize perldoc.com says it's only a temporary change of search engines, but that was at the beginning of December. I don't know exactly how the square-bracketed links work internally; can a change of format affect all old nodes?
