I (fortunately, from what I've heard) don't know Cobol really, but this (with gems like "ACCEPT DATA FROM WEBPAGE") looks surprisingly similar to Intercal to me. :) Anyhow, apart from that, I guess it's good to see some diversity in the field of programming languages - and also, let's not forget that it's the unix way of doing things to give you enough rope to hang yourself with. From what I've read at the site, Cobolscript seems to fit in perfectly with that.

    I agree diversity is good. This, however, is the programming language equivalent of a child from wormtongue and that witch from robin hood. It's just plain scary.

      Indeed. :) But I guess it's not entirely useless - it can still act as a deterrent. ;)
