1. (++) -
I use "Super Search" far more than "Search" and would rather have the "Search" box at the top of each page go to the "Super Search" page than the "Seach" page. Thinking back on it I don't remember the last time I used the "Search" box. After becoming a bit more active here, I added the "Personal Nodelet" and one of the first links I added was the "Super Search" link and just go there when I need to look up something rather than even trying to use the "Search" box.
2. (++) -
After I vote on the current poll I don't pay attention to it till it changes again, so showing the entire poll after voting doesn't seem to be necessary and seems to me a bit of a waste of system resources.
3. (+=0) - Kind of a toss up here for me. I think that we need to have some better help (read - more focused or directed to the task at hand) on the site and this seems as good a place to start as any.
"Does the keyword nodelet work?" - You know more about that than I do ;-) - Haven't ventured there yet.
"Are quests dead?" - Never noticed the "Quests" link before! However (FWIW) after following the link and seeing that all the posts in the section stop in 2000 I would suspect that this was an experiment that didn't quite work out as a seperate heading but is kept around for Historical(?) reasons.

Speaking of links... Am I the only one driven mad by the way the links at the top of the page are laid out? They are, on my screen anyway, in two rows, and how many items appear in each row is totally variable. The layout depends both on the width of the browser window, as well as the width of the node title. Thus the collection of links are laid out differently from one page to the next, and one computer to the next. This is madness! Why can't we just have two fixed width rows, or some other sane option that wouldn't lead to me staring at the screen in confusion every time I want to click a section link. Stop the insanity!

Recently a setting was added to allow you to remove that list completely (See your settings, "No navigation menu under title bar") - you can turn on the 'Sections' nodelet instead.

- As I use the search box quite a bit, I think it would be better if the user had a setting like "Search box goes to Super Search", link would be annoying because I put in node ids, and want to go straight to the node
- ++ this one is cool :)

Another possibility is one box and two buttons. One to take you to the "Search" node (or node id searched for) and one to take you to the "Super Search" node.
FWIW, I suspect that the biggest reason that "Super Search" isn't as easy to access as "Search" is because of the additional load it places on the server in searching through all the text in all the nodes.

If you feel a node deserves a "--", please reply to the node or /msg the monk with the reason for the "--". Without guidence as to what was wrong, be it sloppy thinking/posting/formatting, didn't RTFM, whatever, it's much harder to correct a mistake and learn from the experience. TIA!

That would also work, but I would think it would be more difficult, but really I don't know
