in reply to Perl 6 finally, in The Netherlands!! :-)

With code like that they have posted ... no wonder Perl gets such a bad rap. Somebody needs to point out the CPAN to those people. For no better reason than being bored on a Monday, here is a rewrite of that awful date example:
#!/usr/bin/perl -T use strict; use warnings; use CGI qw(:standard); use Time::Piece; print header, start_html('a better time script'), p('The date is ', localtime->strftime('%D')), p('The time is ', localtime->strftime('%r')), end_html, ;

jeffa

L-LL-L--L-LL-L--L-LL-L--
-R--R-RR-R--R-RR-R--R-RR
B--B--B--B--B--B--B--B--
H---H---H---H---H---H---
(the triplet paradiddle with high-hat)

    Of more concern is the fact that their form submission script, /scripts/sendformmail.dll, referenced in the linked page can be employed as a spam relay - The actual script comes from CodeWarriors, http://www.codewarriors.com.

    :-(

    perl -le "print+unpack'N',pack'B32','00000000000000000000001010000101'"

    Well, ActiveASP ...ehr... ActiveISP does not have a very good reputation over here. They took over one of the worst Dutch internet providers, LaDot. Obviously, they are not to be taken too seriously... (I wonder if they do that themselves, with imitating April 1st and all that). They just announced they are going to support MySQL and PHP real soon now!

    Update: made the node a bit less insulting and harsh.
