in thread sending message from unix to windows

I have an AIX 4.3 Unix server. The perl version installed is 5.5.3.75. The requirement is to send a message to a known IP address in the Windows 2000 environment. The windows 2000 environment is 5.00.2195 and patched to service pack 4.

All your code does is confirm a packet has been successfully sent and received ? I need to send a popup message to the users desktop from Unix to Windows.

What I really detest is people asking a question, and then, after they got an answer, they come with "what my real question is...". In your case, it's even worse, you were already asked to be more specific.

You already have your three answers. Goodbye.
