Have you read On The Naming of Modules?

Have you posted to the module-authors mailing list? (If so, I must have missed it.)

Have you searched for variations on "The Internet of Things"/"Web of Things"? I found the following that may interest you:

Han Scharler's Scripting Things talk for the Pittsburgh Perl Workshop 2011 in which he abbreviated "The Internet of Things" as IOT.
