how did the alphanumeric will compare...

see "(1)-(2)" $1 and $2 if $1<$2 print 1<194>2 and second condition is if $1>$2 print <check>1<194>2</check> but in case of alphanumeric like 1a-2z its not applicable similarly in case of 1z-2a

I think u people got my point how it can be done..
