I'm not a reddit user, but googling just now found a follow-up reddit post with the same title as this Perl thread: Congratulations to the winner of a new copy of Perl 6: The Community's Rewrite of Perl! ... no great surprise to see a reddit rep of -12 with its original content now replaced with Sorry, this post has been removed by the moderators of r/perl.
