Perlmonks on a handheld, what could be better? Not much. I've almost reached my goal too.

The secret lies in displaytype=raw. For those who don't know, add this to the URL, and it cuts out a lot of information. One thing is missing though.

You can't follow links through there and get raw nodes. First of all because the code behind the site doesn't insert &displaytype=raw into the links. And second, because viewing posts in raw mode seems to sprout an error. This has been mentioned before in DisplayType Raw and doesn't appear to be fixed. I would love to see this fixed, because, well, who wouldn't want to be able to view perlmonks on the run without downloading so much info.

So there's my tangent, what do my fellow monks think?
