Dear wise Monks,
I want to publish a bioinformatics Perl script that requires one module which is not in core, namely LWP::Simple. I know that this module is now included in Strawberry Perl (running cpan -a) but is it possible to figure out since when (version or date)? In the release notes I can only see whats on top of the old Perl version.
I simply want to tell people that they will not have to install anything manually when they use Strawberry Perl x.x.x / Active State Perl x.x.x / Ubuntu x.x.x or Mac OS x.x.x.
Thanks alot for your assistance! In reply to Since when is a module included in Strawberry or ActiveState Perl (not core) by Microcebus
