i cannot, for some reason, configure my PC to run perl. ive downloaded the components needed, but no go. so i gave up on that. but can someone tell me how to use a module with a webhost? my host has installed modules but i need to use some modules they do not have at times. so how can i use a module they dont have without requesting them to install it.

They will install if they feel it will be used widely by their other clients.
