Over the past week, I've noticed that all attempts to browse the site time out over 80% of the time for me. It's rather tedious when simple actions such as voting or checking a new node take several minutes because you have to try multiple times.

Is there a problem on my end? Has anyone else notice this? Is there a cause? Is it permanent?
