I agree with dws when he states that the new hints look like a sig when reading a post. There needs to be more visual separation between the post(s) in a category and the posting hints. No such visual separation needs to be between the posting hints and the actual posting form.

I do understand that the hints can be disabled if you find them annoying. However, when the hints are present, there yet remains a visual style issue regarding the block association of what the hints are referring to -- particularly in cases where the posting form happens to be below the bottom of the browser window.

BTW, when posting replies to replies, the hints do not even appear. Is this a feature?
