I think this would make for a good default, which could itself be hand-hacked if the poster of the node feels it necessary. OTOH, it's a social problem, and you're suggesting a technical solution. It's feasible to do what you want. It may be a good idea.

I'd have to mull over the possibilities. Sometimes it's better to see who takes the extra time to do the little things. In this case, though, the solution would probably help much more than hinder after a quick second glance at your suggesstion.
