With much help from Babblefish, I think I got the gist of most of it, but one phrase cropped up a couple of time that is obviously a literal translation of something, slang possibly, that left me in the dark even with the aid of context.

What is/are talking moon operating systems?

Cor! Like yer ring! ... HALO dammit! ... 'Ave it yer way! Hal-lo, Mister la-de-da. ... Like yer ring!
