There is a very good reason for that, and it's that Apache2 only works with mod_perl2. If you wanna use mod_perl2, you'll have to read the mod_perl2 documentation.

Disregard BrowserUk if you wish to stick with Apache2x (otherwise you'll need to get Apache1x).
