Don't feel silly, I had no idea this feature was there. In fact, I just went looking for it and I couldn't find it. !!!

The reason for this is pretty clear to me. This link should be placed at the top of the node along with the other links ( print w/ replies, xml )

As for the terminology, I don't grok "d/l code", but perhaps others do. I would recommend "download code" or "unwrapped code", or even "code".
