I'll agree with the rest.. 'vote for this site' buttons appear to be more for people/sites desperately seeking attention, something which we are not.. If people want to come, they will come, we don't need to go out there and find them.

Likewise the 'list of other good sites', we link to CPAN, Everything and various other Perl related places, I don't think theres any call to start up links to completely unrelated places. Except maybe unless they want to pay for advertising (funding++)

<plug>I've created a CGI recently which provides a list of things people have linked to in the CB here, the only form of ranking is the number of people that have linked to each exact url, I could add another, should people wish it. (Though one could as well use stumbleupon.com or similar for that)</plug> Anyway, such things are probably better externally..
