I think the key is "when is Windows ever a more right tool for the job than Unix?"

For example, I just finished writing something on a Unix platform after about 2 months of having to use NT... I was back in heaven. When Perl said: 

error near $profit...

I could type grep 'profile' *.pl and find all possible lines that Perl was referring to in a flash... I dont know, actually I am sure that such functionality must exist for Windows, but is it free? And is it the result of programmers writing an OS for programmers?
