That was exactly my point radiantmatrix, and thanks for posting your reply.

To expand on this, the code posted is fun and interesting but could be seen as any sword style, both western and eastern, if you substitue katana for sword of choice (gim, broadsword, bastard sword, grosse messer, etc...). So the title is wrong, katana ne Bushido. I should point out that I don't take offense to the title or the poster's lack of knowledge of the Bushido, I merely wished to point out the title is incorrect, though it has caused me to give some thought to a perl poem based on some principle of Bushido...once things calm down at work (inventory time).
