It appears that the perldoc site tracks the current stable release (5.8.6 was released 2004-11-30 and 5.8.5 on 2004-07-21) infact the perfaq.pod
does indeed have:
perlfaq - frequently asked questions about Perl ($Date: 2004/10/05 22:
+15:44 $)
Whereas the latest bleadperl (and
http://cvs.perl.org/cvsweb/perlfaq/perlfaq.pod ) version has:
perlfaq - frequently asked questions about Perl ($Date: 2005/03/27 07:
+21:21 $)
so I guess that
http://faq.perl.org tracks changes to the FAQ as they are made. Which makes sense to me and appears to be intentional thus not in need of fixing.
