When I type something into the "search" box at the top of the page and there's no node with my query as its title, usually the action I want to take is to Super Search on that same string. I find it a bit odd that the search results page has a pre-populated form for searching CPAN, but a normal link to Super Search, where I then have to re-type my query.
Can/should this be changed? I often mistakenly submit CPAN searches after scanning the list of node titles. I would like to see the following changes made (in descending order of importance):
To search more than just node titles, try Super Search:
Super Search: [text: query box] [submit: Super Search]Another option might be to search CPAN
CPAN Search: [select: search type] [text: query box] [submit: Search CPAN]I'm probably going to Firefox-bookmark my way around this (map keyword 'ss' to 'http://www.perlmonks.com/index.pl? node_id=3989&go=Search&nf=1&BIT=%s' [without the space]), but if the changes to the Search Results page are relatively trivial, it'd be nice to do this for all monks.
