I want to grant BlogShares chip rewards to monks that earn eXperience Points here on perlmonks.org. 1300 B$ members answered a recent poll saying they want to earn more chips, and at least a handful of those use perl. How can I grab a daily snapshot of all monks' XP en masse so I can calculate rewards, without bogging down perlmonks.org?

This thepen "monks by xp" list would only require a dozen hits per day, but it hasn't been updated since 2003.

This project is an experiment in driving participation in one site (perlmonks) by giving rewards on another (blogshares).
