Considering that IT has been seeing a decline that past years, specially in dot-com companies and web related activities, I'm not at all surprised to see a drop in any usage in the IT world, specially not if it's used a lot in web related activities. So, Perl, PHP, Python going down isn't a surprise. Is it 5%? Is it 10% Is it 20%? Who knows. Should I care? No.
