Or just be thankful that some very simple part of a security and authentication mechanism works. But if you really must, then use a timed reloader extension. However, be aware that some sites detect the 'refresh' operation with no data being submitted and don't restart the inactivity timer. I don't know about the sites you refer to, but it does happen.
