As a newcomer, I can say that since my earliest visit to PM I too have been under the impression that the CC section was not really happening, based on the fact that there don't seem to be any recent posts under any of the category links. It's clear from the main CC page that people are posting there, but other than paging through from the front page, there seemed no other way of accessing those posts.

What's interesting is that doing a Super Search of the code catacombs section using a category name as the search term doesn't bring up any recent items for that category either -- even with "search newest first" selected.
