I didn't vote on your post, but I remember reading it several times wondering what you were talking about. I've only just realised.

The tendency (in my opinion) here is, if you don't put any effort into explaining your post properly, then you are wasting my time, and you get voted down.

The subject was fine, but you could have said something like:

I am looking for web component libraries that work under mod_perl. Things like calendars, grids etc.
Small change, but easier to understand.
