Described by the authors as a "...software equivalent of a depleted uranium lawn gnome" and the "ultimate sixty-ton cast iron lawn ornament for the desktops" MGM is a perl based load & system status meter.
I'm boggled by the fact that the thing's written in TK; it looks remarkably not-TK like.
Regrettably, I don't have a *nix box to fiddle with, so I have no first hand reports.
