I'm sort of in the same boat. Have been dabbling w/ Perl for a few months only, and after checking out some online tutorials I finally bought Programming Perl and the Perl Cookbook. Both books supplement each other very well and have been very helpful. I really like the in depth coverage of the first and the usage examples of the second. I highly recommend them both. Pancho
