Dear Monks,
I'm trying to use inline C with ActivePerl 5.10.0 on a Windows XP machine. I've tried everything I can find in help files and various websites to get it to work, but I continue to get the error:
'cl' is not recognized as an internal or external command
I've installed Visual C++ 6.0 and downloaded nmake15 from msdn and I've also tried Visual C++ 8.0 with the included nmake utility. Can someone please, please help? Do I need to be running my perl scripts from certain directories? Or have the cl.exe and nmake in certain places? I'm so confused!
