Cookies can be valid for a host or domain. If the domain is set to "host.domain" then the cookie is only vaild on "host". If it is set to ".domain" it is valid for any host in domain".

THRAK's first reference gives the details. Just be sure to put a period "." in front of the domain name (e.g. <bold> <bold>.<bold>foo.com</bold>) if you want it valid for the whole domain.
