Hello, Can anyone please explain to me how to install PAR::Packer? I'm on a Windows XP machine with ActivePerl 5.10.0 Build 1004 installed. I haven't installed any further modules or such.

I have tried to install PAR and PAR::Packer with the PPM but this doesn't work. For some reason it is unable to download packlists from any server.

So what is the best way of installing PAR::Packer? The reason I want to do this is to be able to create stand alone executables from my perl scripts.

Please not that I do not have a C compiler installed. I have seen that this is sometimes needed for PAR::Packer. If so, how do I install such a compiler?
