Dear monks,
being a scrupulous newbie here, I read some help docs. About setting a real name we can read
Only gods (the site administrators) can see this information. Your real name is not displayed anywhere on PerlMonks.
It's respectful to the people to keep their private data private, but why there isn't an option to choose if you want your real name to be shown? Is it so rare for monks to disclosure their real personalities that the options is not considered a standard?
Or maybe it's a concept borrowed from real monks' naming tradition?
