I don't think so.

I don't remember Matlab's capabilities in detail, but I believe they have sophisticated methods for finding good numerical approximations of factorizations for polynomials of high degree. I doubt that anybody has coded these techniques in Perl, and even if they did I think that Matlab is a better language for this kind of work.
