I don't think you can the way you described (see asd-srv site:search.cpan.org wb.cgi site:search.cpan.org ebi.ac.uk site:search.cpan.org). You could use WWW::Mechanize as your browser, submit the form, and get back data, and then do your bioperl thing on it.
