Sometime ago, I was given useful answers to the question about registering Perl on a Windows 7 PC.
I now know of a utility program that can do this for Perl and other applications. This utility can be found on the internet at http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/file_types_manager.html. It is call filetypesman. I have found it works on Windows XP Professional and I reliably have been told in works on Windows 7.I thought that other Monks may find it useful.
