Hello Monks, I'm using the standard sys::syslog to send events to a Linux syslog, and it works as advertised. The problem I'm having is that some of the data I send to the syslog is from an FTP transaction, which causes syslog to throw an error:

with syslog: chmod_dest: /CR_CMPC2BCH/FileList/./replic_2011-06-30_14_51_16.tar.gz +(dst): permission denied (server msg: 'This server does not support o +perations to modify file attributes.') sftp> quit Invalid conversion in sprintf: "%\015" at /usr/sec/5.8.5/lib/5.8.5/x86 +_64-linux/Sys/Syslog.pm line 312. 2011-06-30 14:51:21 16990 WARN: execute_sftpScript: The script '/tmp/ +UploadWD/CR_CMPC2BCH/replic_2011-06-30_14_51_16.... without syslog: chmod_dest: /CR_CMPC2BCH/FileList/./replic_2011-06-30_14_50_05.tar.gz + (dst): permission denied (server msg: 'This server does not support +operations to modify file attributes.') sftp> quit 2011-06-30 14:50:09 15812 WARN: execute_sftpScript: The script '/tmp/ +UploadWD/CR_CMPC2BCH/replic_2011-06-30_14_50_05.tar.gz.scr' may *NOT* + have been executed successful!

I really don't understand how I can fix this because it's not even clear to me why this is happening (the leading date?). Could someone have a look and maybe share your thoughts? Thank you for your assistance!
