How can I access data stored in a Drop-down Form Field in Microsoft Word?

Sorry if my question was rather broad. I'm new to perl and therefore wouldn't know what other types of information would be helpful. Here's my code for accessing a word document 

my $Doc = $Word->Documents->Open($formLocation);

Now from $Doc, how can I reference that data?
