I have a commercial software product written in XS to protect the source code from theft. It is licensed to customers with an EULA. I have seen Modules on CPAN that already link with non-free commercial software. What would happen if I upload a free 30 day shareware version of my Perl Module Kit to CPAN to spread awareness of my product?
