Yes, theres a big hint in Need Help?? (linked above your nodelets) pointing to I just became a Novice; Why can't I vote yet? which explains that one only gets the actual votes on the following day, when the new votes are given out.

    The first is fixed, the second isnt a SiteDocClan node so it cant be fixed by them, but rather by pmdev. Luckily I wear both hats so ill look into that too. :-)

    Appreciate the timely reply. I thought I'd checked all the relevent documentation (even down to the 'Null vote' item in Miscellaneous Settings). I'll wait till tomorrow.

      Just FYI, the null vote option (which is highly recommended) means you get an extra radio buttion labelled +=0 so you can change your mind on a node without having to reload the page.

      Makeshifts last the longest.

    Just to round this off: I got my first 8 votes today and can now find voting buttons.
